Our club, a non-profit corporation, was formed for educational and instructive purposes. To foster the collection and study of minerals, to disseminate knowledge about them, to sponsor field trips to find them, to encourage the use of them in lapidary and faceting studies, etc. and to have a good time doing those things among friends and family.

We are located in the western San Fernando Valley in the city of Los Angeles, California.
